today was SUCH a beautiful day. So sunny and so hot, almost too hot, which is such an English thing to say; it's too hot when it's hot and too cold when it's cold. We did just had a brief thunder storm though so, you know.  This evening we went for a family curry in Petworth which was scrumptious, no one does it better than at Megdoot's.

Today daddy, thea and I went canoeing just the other side of New Haven, down by the Seven Sisters. It was stunning, we paddled down this little meander all the way to the sea. It was quite hard work though, I'd forgotten about D of E. We had a well deserved ice cream afterwards though, and we stopped for fish and chips on the way back and sat on Seaford beach.

Today, Thea and I babysat Cordelia and Henry whilst everyone else went off to Glyndebourne. But we had a great time, and we played lots of games and did some reading too.

We sat in the sunshine chatting all morning, which was ideal. We didn't leave Timmy's until gone 3, and Zan, Ben and I drove to Basingstoke, stopping for a much needed Mcdonald's on the way.

We left home early this morning to get to Sherborne for Commem., Mrs PW's last one! I can't believe that's it, it won't be the same without her.

After commem. Zan, Ben, Al and I went down to the pub before heading to Timmy's for a BBQ which was scrummy, before going out again in Cirencester. We had such a cracking night, it was so great to be out with the gang again.

Today was so much fun! We all went out on the boat, Ben, Katy, Zan, Timmy, Max, LJ, Harry, Mary and I. First we went round to Studland Bay and went to the pub, the view was beautiful. And then after that we went back to the boat and went for a swim. It was... a bit chilly, but fun so who cares.

We spent the rest of the afternoon out on the boat, we went out round Old Harry's rock to Swanage. There was some hilarious moments, I swear I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

This evening we had supper at the Yacht club, which was amazing, and then drinks in the pod after.

I've had a fab fab time, thank you Benjamin!

Today mama and I went shopping in Chichester. Bought some lovely things, went for tea; great day.

And then this evening I went over to Ben's house for supper, and we took the dogs for a walk after in Wareham Forest which was so beautiful in the sunset!

Today we went back to Sherborne for Mrs PW's leaving tea. It was so lovely but kinda sad, it really won't be the same without her. But it was so great to see everyone, even though it was just Mary and I from our year there were so many from other years and it was so nice to catch up with them all.

Daddy and I went to Queens today, and we had a wonderful time! The best match, I think, was the Anderson/Wawrinka one, but they were all great.

AND to make it all even better I saw so many of my friends there! It was bizzare, but so lovely.

I drove back with Ben to his today, and spent the day there which was lovely. Oh, after we stopped at what has to be the most scenically placed McDonalds ever, with a stunning view over maiden castle.
I stayed for supper which was delicious, before getting the train home. And there was such a beautiful sunset this evening! The sky was all different shades of purple but with this streak of golden clouds tearing through it.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! And I've had a wonderful wonderful day!

I spent all day cooking in preparation for this evening. LJ, Ben, Ben, Mary, Aggie, Jack and Fleur came over and we had my amazing dinner (honestly, I surprised myself it was so good) and lots of wine. It was kind of a perfect evening and a brilliant way to spend such an important national holiday (it should be anyway).

Today I got my hair did. It's kind of short. But it's growing on me... ba dum cha.

I don't know about you but I love the smell of hair salons, like hair spray and Moroccan oil all mixed up together. I did a bit of shopping afterwards down the high street, Guildford has SUCH good shops AND there's a Zara coming soon! Ahhh!

Mama and I treated ourselves and went for Indian on the way back. Soooo scrummy.

Today was another super chilled day riverside, sitting in the sunshine and drinking a lot of wine. All together we caught an impressive total of one fish, thanks to Benji.

I've had such a lovely time and it was so sad to leave, but I'll see them all soon again I'm sure.

We all had quite a late start this morning, or afternoon whichever it was.

Zan left after breakfast which was sad, but so so good to see her!

We spent the morning frolicking in the garden, playing frisbee and things, followed by a lunch down by the river, followed by fishing! Mil tried to teach Izzy and I how to do it, she's a bit of a pro. Izzy was pretty good, I was just atrocious. But my real talent lay in untangling the fishing lines, a pretty invaluable skill if you ask me...

This weekend is Milly's fishing weekend, and we've all come down to Hampshire for it; Izzy, Zannie, Eliza, Jessie, Ed, Marcus, Hugo, Charlie, Kit and me.

This evening, after sitting in the sunshine with a glass of champagne, we had a lovely dinner with everyone, followed by the girls going next door and leaving the men to drink port and discuss manly things, and drink port. It was quite bizarre, a bit like being inside an episode of Downton Anbey or something, but I quite liked it, it meant we could talk about far more interesting things.

Apart from lounging in the sunshine, today mother and I went to the framers, something that I really want to get into. And apparently I have an eye for it... whatever that means. We ordered the mount board and frame I want to use to frame the Berthe Morisot print of A Woman and a Child in a Garden that she bought in Edinburgh, and fingers crossed it'll look fab!

Daddy went to France today, sob. He's left me in charge of all the machinery, not sure how wise that was...

It's been such a lovely day, super sunny and apparently it's just going to get better and better all week!

And Murray won his match today against Ferrer so now he's in the semi final and he could potentially maybe win the French open!
