Thursday 30 April 2015

This is the face of post exam bliss!
(Apologies for the horrendous selfie)
Although, despite the lack of revision I now have, I've been a busy bee all day, I even made it to the gym! Again!!

Wednesday 29 April 2015

And I'm done! Exams = Over. It's such a relief, and now I'm freeeeeeeeee.
We celebrated in style last night by visiting the transvestite night at Paradise Palms. It was... an experience. Something to cross off the bucket list.

Tuesday 28 April 2015

Won't be looking at these books for a while! This time tomorrow it'll all be over, cwazy.
Lovely revision break this afternoon with Al. We went to Rotato after her exam for lunch which was fab, and super scrumptious. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the burgh.

Monday 27 April 2015

Monday 27 April 2015

One down! One to go, yay!
It wasn't so bad, although we were in there for four hourzzzzzzz...
The photo of today is a special edition, one which I feel highlights all of our best features/stuffed bat impressions. Not sure what I'd do without these two here in Edinburgh with me. They've helped make this year the bestest. I love you both verr much.
Sass Squad 4err xoxo

Sunday 26 April 2015

Exam tomorrow, eek. I'm feeling okay about it; positive mindset leads to positive outcomes... fingers crossed.
Today has been fun filled, who doesn't love revision? Liv, Laura and I had a little study session/break this afternoon which helped, I think... We had a lovely time anyway.

Saturday 25 April 2015

Saturday 25 April 2015

I don't think I've ever felt so under prepared for an exam, hmm. BUT, thinking positively brings positive results so smiles all round (even if they are through gritted teeth).
Liv and I had a study session in the sunshine this afternoon which was helpful, even if it wasn't super fun. Roll on Monday...

Friday 24 April 2015

Mum's gone now, sob. Leaving her at the train station this morning was horrible. BUT, before she left we had a coffee in the sunshine at the National Gallery by Princes Street gardens.
We went to the pub this evening too which was lovely, although I was seriously outnumbered.

My beautiful mummy! This one isn't from today, but when we went to the botanical gardens on Wednesday.

Friday 24 April 2015

Thursday 23 April 2015

Another lovely day with my lovely Mummy.
This morning we walked up Calton Hill which is stunning; the hill and the view! And we spent lunchtime wandering around Broughton Street, scoping it out for next year and the flat. glad it's all getting sorted, yay!

Wednesday 22 April 2015

I was a good girl today and revised aaaaaaall morning.
But, I may have spent this afternoon with my mummy (far more fun). We had lunch on the meadows and walked around the botanical gardens; such a fab time in the glorious sunshine.
And to make it all even better tonight we had Ed's birthday supper at Chez Jules, which  was super super lovely.
Happy Birthday Ed!

Tuesday 21 April 2015

Fab day! Aside from the weather being utterly gorgeous, today has been super productive and super fun too.  This morning was spent hard at work (finally), but I took the late arvo/evening off to go and see Mummy. We wandered around Edinburgh, down to Stockbridge which I hadn't seen before. It's so pretty down there, with the Water of Leith winding though. And for dinner we went to Chaophraya on Castle Street. It's a Thai restaurant in a glass box at the top of the building with the most stunning 360 views. Plus the food was amazing, I would definitely recommend it if you ever find yourself in Edinburgh.

Monday 20 April 2015

I guess today was sort of productive. Very similar to yesterday, I worry that this week is just going to become a pattern; work, gym, pub, sleep.
The pub was fun though. So great to see everyone!

Monday 20 April 2015

Sunday 19 April 2015

I have friends again!
This afternoon I went to the gym! I know, it's been a long time coming.
And this evening Ed, Marcus and I went to the Salisbury, which was lovely!

Saturday 18 April 2015

Ashamed to say I haven't left my room once today. And this is what I've become, I have a book for a head (I wish, if it was I might actually have a chance with these exams.)

Friday 17 April 2015

Fortunately, today has been very productive. Unfortunately, it's once again been productive in all the wrong ways in regards to my exams. I'm getting scarily good at this whole procrastination business. I think I need a baby sitter, I can't be trusted on my own.
A sneak peak at the productive side of my day, inside Armstrong's. As fun as it was I didn't actually get anything in there, but I did buy a fab little book on Van Gogh from Oxfam. Reminded me of when Pip and I volunteered there at school. Oh Michael.

Thursday 16 April 2015

Thursday 16 April 2015

A successful morning! Followed by a very unproductive afternoon. Someone send help, I think this room and this revision is driving me insane. Fortunately I have Earl Grey to get me though these tough times. Such a great guy.
p.s. I'm starting to wonder who actually reads my blog... and why. Do I not bore you all to death?
p.p.s. Seriously, send help.

Wednesday 15 April 2015

Wednesday 15 April 2015

Back in the Burgh. I've left 25 degree heat for 11 degree averageness, sob.
On the bright side though the plane journey wasn't so bad, and my room is now immaculate (thanks to the impressive amount of procrastination I've managed since being back.)

Tuesday 14 April 2015

Revision was actually done today!... before the shopping trip that is. But focusing on the positive, I could actually now tell you about the rise of the novel, or something like that.
(I also couldn't resist taking it outside, the weather just seems too good to be true.)

Monday 13 April 2015

As awful as it may be to admit, I think the highlight of my day today was the new season of Made in Chelsea starting! eek! So many awkward pauses!
And another first class day weather wise. Keep it up England.

Sunday 12 April 2015

Sunday 12 April 2015

Still slogging away at this essay, sigh.
But another beautiful, if slightly blustery day.

Saturday 11 April 2015

If anyone has been dying to know what I've been up to this week I'm super sorry about the delay, we've been having a spot of wifi trouble at home but all fixed now.
Today has been taken up on the whole by this essay which iiiiiiis not really almost done, although it needs to be by Monday... Other than that though, we watched the Oxford Cambridge Boat Race which was fab. Making history today, it being the first time that the women have raced in the same place and on the same day as the men! Aaaand Mil's cousin William was in the Oxford team this year; the youngest rower there. And they won!

Friday 10 April 2015

I stayed over at Phil's last night, and we stayed up hours catching up yay.
And then today we went for a walk in the sunshine with Monty. Fab day!

Thursday 9 April 2015

Today was so lovely. Pip, Aggie, Molly, Katy, Milly, Ellie and I had a picnic in the New Forest. It was SO lovely to see everyone! It makes me realise how much I miss them all and how much more we should see each other. what's great though is how close we all still are, no matter how long between get together's and how far away we live from each other.

Wednesday 8 April 2015

This afternoon Daddy and I went to watch the end of Thea's regional Lacrosse trials. The weather was beautiful, although I didn't envy her running around non stop all day in it.

Tuesday 7 April 2015

I actually did some revision today, in a coffee shop. Far more productive.
And the weather has been so glorious! perfect for trampolining.

Tuesday 7 April 2015

Monday 6 April 2015

Today we went to Charlotte and David's for an Easter lunch a la Berry famille. And we had a wonderful time. The weather was glorious, the chocolate was heavenly, and I definitely won 40/40...
It was so nice to see everyone, especially as I missed the last clan gathering. I love you all.

Sunday 5 April 2015

Happy Easter!
Today has been lovely. We've all been at home. Thea and I made chocolate Easter egg nests which are so scrummy I wish you could all try them.

Saturday 4 April 2015

Today was a travelling day. We've spent pretty much all of it in the car, apart from a lovely lunch stop in Lancaster. We went up to the castle/ex prison and sat in the sunshine before getting back in the car, this time equipped with mini eggs.

Friday 3 April 2015

Friday 3 April 2015

This morning Al and I had a sort of breakfast in bed (as we'd managed to miss jmcc). Croissants, yoghurt, orange juice, tea; it was pretty spectacular.
And my fam arrived this afternoon. We've spent the day on the tourist trail. The highlight was definitely the National Portrait Gallery. This years Portrait Award exhibition was stunning, so much talent.

Thursday 2 April 2015

I spent yesterday afternoon in the glorious sunshine in George square with Al and Felix. Ali brought Maltesers, as any self respecting person would know are my absolute favourite.
And last night we all went out together for what will probably be the last time in a while. We had a ball and afterwards, Ed, Mil, Izzy and I went to Pizza Paradise. Does life get better?

Thursday 2 April 2015

Wednesday 1 April 2015

Where has this year gone!? I can't believe it's April already.
The highlight of today was pizza and a movie with these lovely ladies. I don't think an evening with Ryan Gosling can be anything other than perfect.
